Hi All,

I am looking at getting into breeding rainbows after keeping tanks for 20+ years. I would like a small rack of 8ft long. Are 20g tanks suitable to use as breeding tanks. I am looking at around 8-10 20g tanks and 6-8 10g for fry raising.

I would like to start with some psuedomugil and some Melanotaenia trifasciata

Thanks.

Definitely big enough, many people breeding rainbowfish use 20 gallon tanks
